A Family-Friendly Adventure
Our mixed public kayaking tour accommodates up to 20 participants and welcomes individuals aged 8 and up. If you’re bringing the whole family, tandem (2-person) kayaks are available, ensuring that everyone can enjoy this adventure together. Children under 12 must paddle alongside an adult in a tandem kayak, fostering a safe and engaging experience for young adventurers. Teens and adults can take solo kayaks when there’s availability, promoting flexibility while ensuring safety. Please note that dogs are not permitted on this tour to maintain a peaceful atmosphere for wildlife.
No Experience Required!
Worried that you’re not an experienced kayaker? No need to fret! Our knowledgeable volunteer naturalist guides kick off the adventure with a quick introduction to kayaking safety. You’ll receive essential skills training that will prepare you to explore on your own in the future. While participants should be able to swim and assist in carrying kayaks a short distance, our guides will be there to ensure you feel comfortable and confident on the water.

Health and Safety Measures
The safety and well-being of participants are a top priority. We adhere to all county and local health recommendations, including social distancing and face covering protocols. Anyone feeling unwell is encouraged to reschedule their tour, ensuring a safe environment for all. Should any tour need to be canceled or adjusted, refunds or rescheduling options will be readily available to accommodate participants’ needs.
Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs) will be provided and are required to be worn at all times on the water. All necessary equipment, including kayaks and safety gear, is included in your ticket price.
