After purchasing the bakery from its original founder, Lei Shishak, just before the pandemic struck, Rogers has successfully navigated the challenges that came her way. “The owner of the previous building wanted to move in a different direction,” she explained. However, she sees the relocation as a blessing, as the new space offers greater visibility and greater opportunities for the bakery’s growth and innovation.
Originally established in 2010 by Lei Shishak, a well-respected pastry chef, Sugar Blossom Bake Shop quickly carved out a niche for its impressive array of signature cakes and baked goods. Tracy, an entrepreneur at heart, came to the bakery after working as a cake decorator at another establishment.
