Empowering Young Voices: Join Us at the 2026 "Voice for Girls" Event
As we look toward the future, it’s vital to cultivate the leaders of tomorrow, and what better way to do that than by supporting young girls in their pursuit of growth? Mark your calendars for an inspiring morning at the Voice for Girls 2026, happening on September 18 at the exquisite Newport Beach Country Club. More than just an event, it’s a call to action to empower the next generation of female leaders in our communities.
A Commitment to Empowerment
This year’s theme, "Care as a Catalyst for Change," underscores the importance of nurturing care and compassion as essential ingredients for societal transformation. The event is hosted by the Girl Scouts of Orange County (GSOC), a longstanding nonprofit dedicated to fostering confidence, resilience, and leadership in girls since 1968.
Keynote Speaker: Kelly Vlahakis-Hanks
One of the highlights of the event will be the keynote address by Kelly Vlahakis-Hanks, President and CEO of ECOS, a plant-powered cleaning products company. With a background in environmental science and a passion for sustainable practices, Vlahakis-Hanks will share her insights on how nurturing our planet and our youth can pave the way for a brighter and healthier future. Attendees can expect to gain valuable perspectives on purpose-driven leadership that emphasizes the interconnection of human and planetary health.
Highlighting Youth Leadership: Girl Scouts “Take Action” Projects
In addition to the keynote address, the event will feature a panel discussion that showcases high school-aged Girl Scouts sharing their transformative “Take Action” projects. These inspiring initiatives exemplify how care can lead to meaningful actions that effectuate real change in their communities. This dynamic exchange will offer attendees insights into how the next generation is taking the reins and driving conversation on key issues.
Sponsorship and Community Engagement
This impactful gathering wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of its Presenting Sponsor, U.S. Bank. Their commitment to empowering girls and fostering leadership in the Orange County community highlights the importance of corporate responsibility while serving as a model for other organizations. Supporting events like this not only benefits the girls involved but enriches the community as a whole.
